I have never used a Kyusu to brew my tea before. I looked at the pots but didn't see the point, now I do. This pot is high quality. The craftmanship beyond what I can find locally. Well balanced, easy to brew and pour and to clean. It looks good on my shelf where it earns lots of well deserved complements. I plan to be very carful of this pot but should it ever fall and break, I would not hesitate to replace it. A word on Mohei. I have fallen in love with this company. Everything I have received from them has been high quality, exceeding my expectations.

Focusing on the Kochi Shincha, the superb quality was apparent from the moment I opened the bag. The loose leaf had long, sturdy leaves, and the green aroma was absolutely heavenly. The aroma remained strong even on the second steep. While the tea works well with some foods, I personally enjoyed it the most by itself or as an after-meal beverage. I'll definitely be purchasing it again next spring!

I love your teas. I have stopped to drink Chinese green teas that are easier reachable at my country, Poland and completely fell in love to yours.
Only problem is distance but with a little planning it shouldn’t compete me…:-)
This is the best ginger infused tea I ever tried. I am always very careful, when buying ginger infused tea as ginger can be very dominant in a tea. But this tea is very well balanced. Has only light ginger notes, you still can taste the green tea.
Extraordinary! It takes a while to get to know the tea; the longer you drink it, the more you come to love its subtle flavor notes.
After three infusions, I use the leaves for another Mizudashi infusion to obtain a refreshing tea with floral notes.
Very tasteful Hojicha tea.
What I like so much about the Marubi is that the nutty taste and the roasted aroma are perfectly balanced. I also like the fact that the roasted aroma does not dominate the other flavors, as I have experienced with Hojicha from other manufacturers.
I have also found that Marubi is also very suitable as a cold brewed tea. For me, 5g of Marubi makes 2-3 liters of tea in the end, depending on how strong the taste should be.
This tea is simply great. One of my very favorite Gyokuru. Sweet, creamy and incredibly tasty. You have to try it.
