Fujisan offers a perfect balance of astringency and sweetness. When brewed at a low temperature, it's sweet; at a high temperature, it has a satisfying astringency. The moderate bitterness in the throat transforms into a gradual, lingering taste.
It's more robust than Goraiko, with a slightly thicker taste that provides a long-lasting aftertaste.

Best moment of the day: Breakfast - Lunch - Afternoon Breaks
Japanese tea is traditionally offered with Japanese sweets. They also pair very well with all sorts of meals, either for breakfast, lunch, breaks, or even dinner (for the lower-caffeine tea).
During his years of serving tea to his dear customers, Mohei's knowledge of the flavors and characteristics of his teas allows him to share the wonders of an exceptional green tea served with the right food. When paired well, Japanese tea can unlock further benefits such as better digestion, better diet, or enhanced sensation of satiety.

Hi Mohei team
you're doing really good work. This Sencha tea is "simply" Sencha as you would expect. Nevermind which infusion you will prefer, it just works.
My favorite teas are Sencha, and this one is really one of the best among them I have found to buy. Slightly bitter, with great umami flavours and sweetness for the first infusions, and a good aftertaste. Generally I do prefer second or third infusion, but for this one I also like the others very much - the first one not being too harsh and sweet, and the last ones not to bitter and faint
I highly recommend giving this a try if you like Sencha
Dear Strecker,
Thank you for taking the time to leave this lovely review. The way you described your experience with Fujisan was wonderfully well put and very accurate. It is always a pleasure to see how our Sencha is perceived and appreciated by our dear tea lovers. As we will add more variety of Sencha, we will always keep the high-quality of Fujisan, so it stays in your list of your favorite Green Teas :)
Wonderfull tea, with a briljant taste. While drinking this tea I remember the tea master in his documentary preparing and telling about the wonderful initiative to bring this tea alive for all people in the rest of the world and feel part of this adventure to restore historic teas and tea with historic worth. I recommend this and all other tea to all of you, because of the richness of the taste, great service and effort in preparing and sending this wonderful teas through the world.
Dear Bianca,
Thank you for this great review on our Sencha and for remembering our documentary, where it all started. We will forever be grateful for your contribution on making Mohei Tea possible, and we highly value your continuous support :)
